Reach out to Home Heart Florida to see if your child qualifies for the AMFC program. We’ll guide you through any paperwork, gather necessary medical documentation, and ensure you understand every requirement before moving forward.
(2) Get Certified as an AMFC
If you or another family member would like to be the caregiver, we’ll provide free online training to become an Aide for Medically Fragile Children (AMFC). At the same time, we handle the Medicaid process so you can focus on your child’s well-being—no chasing down forms or approvals.
(3) Provide Care & Get Paid
Once approved, you begin caring for your medically fragile child with full support from our skilled nursing team. Meanwhile, Medicaid compensates you for the vital, hands-on care you provide, giving you peace of mind and financial relief as you nurture your child at home.
